Didn't anyone listen to the test pressings of this album? That's what they're for!
I bought one of these and took it straight back and exchanged it for the cd. Great album - pity the vinyl was mis-pressed.
      And no re-press? Strange.

Yes, this is a terribly mastered and pressed piece of wax. Some tracks are intolerable they're so noisy. It is a shame. The music is all stellar. It's hard for me to understand why this would even be packaged and released. It's obviously not up to snuff and the producers had to know this. Is this some kind of prank? Or a dodgy bootleg kind of situation?

However, it may become some sort of collector's item. That would be nice, I suppose. But that still wouldn't make the record any more listenable.

Indeed, it crackles thoughout. Though the music maintains listenable. Though the entire record sounds a bit flat, like there was no mastering being done on it. You can see the distorted part on in the groove, there must've gone something wrong during the pressing proces there. Shame on all these terrible aspects, because the highly creative music deserves better!
