Reviews
- I’m just wondering what makes this FMR release of “Westering Home” unofficial. Is it because FMR released it but failed to obtain all the proper licenses, or did some bootlegger press up unsanctioned copies of this CD using the FMR logo without permission in an effort to make it appear legitimate? Is it a transcription from an LP? Is it, in fact, actually unofficial? Historically, FMR has been a very respectable label run by Trevor Taylor.
I wish Discogs would require the answers to these questions like this before allowing a release to be labelled as “unofficial,” especially now that Discogs has started prohibiting the sales of “unofficial” releases in increasing numbers.
Thanks,
Walter
