Stunning release.
Can anybody recommend something like this, thumping techno-filled music with a piano/sax that is heavy enough to remain a techno track and with melodic elements just enough for it not to overturn itself into being a house tune?

Hi guys,
Im referencing the release on Power House...
Obviously an awesome record but theres just one thing... Does anyone elses "Its a power thing" skip and have a generally bad sound quality compared to the other side? Im also experiencing this slightly with "Rave/do it yourself" im happy buying another one but im just worried that that copy will be fucked aswell..........
Must be a bad pressing, anyone else have this problem?

Welcome 12" re-release of the previously super-rare Power House debut in 2010, but lacking the dirty B-side cut of the original (Power Cut) in favor of a rather pedestrian piano jam take on the Piano Invasion mix, aka the Island Mix. It's okay, but it doesn't quite fit the release's vibe as well as the original pair. But I guess the Hardwax crew needed to have a reason to keep the original super-limited release special and expensive on Discogs ;) A-side is still where it's at, and the main reason to own this.
