very chuffed as sealed copy i got and pristine sound but this Italian release has very thin tape; thinner than UK or US ; not sure why

Released in 1977 but the label says 1976??? Whats up with that?

Very high quality. Zero surface noise, zero cracks and pops, sounds really good. For the price, highly recommended.

I have seen the DJ "DEMOS" copies marked with "Quadraphonic" across the top front of the gatefold record jacket in a gold bar like most of the Columbia quadraphonic pressings. However, I have never seen a regular non-DJ pressing marked as quadraphonic on the front of the gatefold sleeve record jacket....does that exist? Discogs does not show one.

Just purchased this quadraphonic edition. The gatefold sleeve record jacket does not state stereo or quadraphonic. The record labels are the Columbia gold SQ Quadraphonic labels and it decodes in SQ. I thought it was odd that the record jacket did not state Quadraphonic. However, enclosed in the record jacket was a letter from Columbia Records stating "you have just purchased a Columbia SQ Quadraphonic record which usually costs more than a stereo record. We put it in this record jacket so you might want to take it to your local electronics store that sells SQ equipment so you can hear the 4 channel sound that so many people are enjoying". They should have included this letter years earlier in stereo record jackets and not at the end of the quad era!

I have a S-86020-4A-1 S-86020-1B-1 version & nothing else stamped on it

Clean sound on my LP60, not even a crackle. Not bad for a '70 press.
