M83.* – Hurry Up, We're Dreaming.

Three copies replaced. All of them with pops and scratches. And gave away the black one. I’m sick of the new pressings.

I wish this was a gatefold release instead of squeezed into one jacket, but this is a dope anniversary pressing. Hope it sounds as good as it looks!

This album gets me every time. 10/10 record for sure.

Really disappointed with the quality of this pressing, same goes for S=Y, both are supposed to be RSD Essentials, but there’s nothing special about them, first copy I ordered had a lot of surface noise, and lot of pops on Outro, second copy had a bit less surface noise but it was still present, also it has a skip at the ending of Intro, seems like a particle was pressed onto the grooves.
There’s really nothing special about these RSD Essential releases other than the cool looking colors, but if sound quality is trash then why bother getting them?
I would recommend avoiding both the S=Y and HUWD- RSD Essential reissues, poor pressing quality.

My copy came with 3 LPs: 2x Side A/B, 1x Side C/D. Also 3 jackets. LOL

Disc1 has a lot of surface noise in a few places that I can't seem to get rid of sadly, not sure if this was a bad press or mishandled in packaging but it’s disappointing. I love the album but might look for one of the other pressings of this album for listening to.

Tons of noise on disc 2 for me, hurts the quieter parts big time. Other than the colour, not very impressed with the pressing quality. Mastering is solid but hampered by pressing noise. Will likely use my 10 year orange copy as the one to play. Played through a 2M Blue on Uturn Orbit, Marantz 2215b and Dynaco a10 speakers.

I prefer the orginal cover and release, much better sound.

Sound: very good sound and volume, no clicking or popping sounds - very nice!

Most definitely the naive pressing is the way to go over mute…wow! The difference is easy to hear.
