My take aways from my copy..
Sleave Quality: Very well done and the outer wrapped sleeve is a nice look.
Record Quality: The labels and vinyl are also well done and look good.
Sound Quality: The sound is good, the two things I noticed are the gain is a bit low and there are clicks and pops baked into it (mostly noticeable during quite sections.
Music Quality: Very cool takes on the older Synth-Pop songs, I'm pretty pleased with the remakes. I would recommend.- First time playing this at a night time level, I was surprised at how low it sounded. When I had a chance to crank it, I realized It is mastered to be played loud. Excellent mastering and super clear. The second side is just perfection from our favorite crazy Uncle! Flat, no noise, no scratches.
- Edited 10 days agoI was surprised how much I like these re-recordings. Unfortunately I didn't read reviews about the vinyl or notice that Cleopatra are the ones that put it out. Super quiet and muddy garbage vinyl pressing. Cleopatra makes the worst vinyl. Worse than Plain records. Terrible job again, Cleopatra. You suck. If you're not going to try, do everyone a favor and license the vinyl job out to smaller labels that will do a better job and love doing it.
- Great to see Al making peace with his "With Sympathy" past. Tracks 1-9 are definitely rerecordings. The CD and digital only tracks 10-12 seem to be updated mixes as the vocals, as well as some sounds seem to be from the original records/master tapes.

My copy sounds awesome! No issues whatsoever with anything. LOVE the new takes on all the songs! I'm so happy Al decided to revisit his most hated album's songs (even though I'm a big fan of the first LP). The new mix of Halloween is so good! Super happy with the release! Can't wait till the last album coming out sometime this year!- My white copy is pressed well. I cleaned it before playing. A couple of ticks here and there, but not enough to be upset about. I recommend this version.

A side was fine on mine but the B side had b 4 scratches affecting Revenge, got worse on I'm not an Effigy and went away on I'm falling. (Green & black splatter)
Update: Returned for another copy this one has no issues. referencing The Squirrely Years Revisited (LP, Album, Limited Edition, Green w/ Black Splatter) CLO 6338
Im lucky my vinyl is perfect, i have the green version ✌️- Well after reading all the reviews about the vinyl, I'm glad I ordered the cd. The tracks actually sounded pretty good off amazon music, so digital might be the best route with this one. Either way...what a great gift from Uncle Al.
