A terrific compilation deep-diving into post-punk, dream pop, psychedelia, private press/real people, and New Age. Haunted and druggy, this collection establishes and maintains a vibe ideal for late night, solitary listening excursions. On par with other landmark comps by the likes of Lenny Kaye, Julian Cope, Jon Savage, and Bob Stanley. For the record, the version of Felt's Red Indians is taken from the 1981 Something Sends Me To Sleep single.
