Slint – Spiderland

People familiar with the album will know it'll test a pressing's ability to perform quietly and dynamically - happy to report that it nails it

This sounds VERY good, the vocals are a bit low in the mix but I cant remember if the original CD was like that or not. Very nice in general, cool gatefold, 12pg book has nice art and words and comes with the documentary on DVD.

Does anyone know the difference between this release and https://www.discogs.com/release/2908745-Slint-Spiderland?

I own a copy and as far as I can tell matches both except the barcode sticker on the back doesn’t have the www.touchandgo.com like in the other release. Instead the sticker has TG064LP in place of the site name.

I give 4 stars to this récord, because cover is blurry. However Sound Quality is really good, but a little crackled in quieter parts. I recommend to clean this récord with ultrasónic or Vinyl cleaner liquid

I first heard this on a taped casette in 1992 while my friend was driving us to a skatespot in his parents car, i didnt really understand it but i knew i liked it...

Next thing you know its 2022 and 30 years later it remains one of the most important albums of my life. These kids in their basement with a with a now very famous pet fish created a mastepiece.

Just got this, my previous vinyl is pretty beat up - this baby sounds a bit better than the OP, but not drastically so - and it's gorgeous, mine weighing in at 204gm with absolutely no underfill - still available at the T&G webstore - go get 'em till the next repress !

Just picked up this pressing. No complaints. A bit of crackle that I was able to clean, so must have just been manufacturing crud.

Is the packaging actually that dark or is that just some kind of scanning error?

Wow, just wow. I had a previous pressing and this is a whole new experience. Exceptional mastering from the original tapes. Incredible.

This pressing is chilling. I “liked” this album before I bought it and now I feel I understand it. I have listened to it everyday since I bought it. I’m preaching this album to everyone who want to hear me talk. Phenomenal. Grab your 30 bucks and go get one and watch your hair stand up on your arms a few times before you have to put the album on for a second time.
