Just listened to this for the first time in a while and it really is one of the very best sounding "headphones records" that I own. Every instrument is engaging on every track. A great example of songwriting/instrument tone/ recording engineer all going hand in hand to make a near perfect album. I agree with the person below that this pressing could not possibly sound better.

This 1991 pressing, which per the label was pressed in Germany, sounds divine. Hard to imagine how any of the subsequent reissues could improve it. Quiet vinyl, dynamic as hell, it's lovely.

Viny180 gets a bad rap (perhaps deservedly so) but they did a nice job on this one. The pressing is well done (from a plant in the UK, not from GZ as some of their releases are). The music sounds dynamic and alive. I'm sure this cut from digital (i.e. 24/96) but whomever did the mastering and lacquer cutting here seems to have done a good job.

Update: going by deadwax inscriptions on side B, this was cut by Greg Moore.

I'm not sure but this may have been withdrawn due to an issue with the artwork, possibly being too dark.
