Pulled this out...It is flat, virtually no surface, nice separation/space/depth/width, and the sound is damn good on my modest system...IMO I woundn't hesitate on picking one up.
(Fluance RT-82 w/Acrylic Platter, ATN-XP cart/5 stylus. Nobsound T3 Phono Amp, Aiyima A07 Pro, Kicker KB6B, & Polk PSW10 Sub...Simple Low Cost Setup)...Happy Listening - What's better? This, the 2011 pallas or the 2020 pallas?
I know the 2020 pallas had a worse jacket than 2011 referencing Rumours (LP, Album, Reissue) 093624979357
This does sound as good as almost everyone says. But, if I would have to nitpick, the vocals could be a tad louder in my opinion. Otherwise: No notes.referencing Rumours (LP, Album, Textured Sleeve) BSK 3010
Great sounding pressing, clear and balanced. Looks like U.S. stampers on this pressing, cut by Ken Perry. So, a first U.S. may not be necessary to seek out if you have this one.referencing Rumours (LP, Album, Record Store Day, Limited Edition, Picture Disc, Reissue, Stereo) RPD1 3010
Well, it is no secret that it is a "picture disc"... that means not intended for audiophile purpose but more as a collector item, for me !
The picture disc is absolutely beautiful and perfectly made.
Surprisely brilliant sound for me, very less surface noise, no crackling...
The label says: "The iconic Album Cover on Picture Disc for the First Time"... But according to Discogs, a similar "picture disc" edition has been released by Warner in Germany in 2010 ?- This has been in my collection for a couple of years now. I read so many bad reviews I had to listen from beginning to end. To me it sounds fantastic! From the hand claps to the acoustic guitar all the way to the bass and cymbals. Crisp, clean, clear and well balanced with great separation. Even the harmonics on “Oh daddy” are superb. I’m guessing that there must be some bad runs on this. Mine is golden to go along with the gold vinyl.
- Any audio comparision between this version and the 2000's Pallas? I have the Pallas version and its superb! Will it be any reason for considering this version an upgrade?

I believe both cover and non-Japanese insert are textured...?

Excellent mix, love how 3D / haunting Gold Dust Woman becomes as it closes...a bit spine chilling. Pressing really good, my copy just short of perfect with a few minor crackles here and there. Ever so slightly warped but zero detracion from the enjoyment. Best verion I have heard by far.
