How does this compare to the vinyl me please version?

I too had a problem with LP1, Side A. It sounds lifeless, and veiled. The rest of the album sounds absolutely superb!
I reached-out to MOFI about it, and they’re going to replace LP1 for me. No quibbles, no problems. Absolutely SUPERB customer service from MOFI!

Played the mfsl SACD today - sounds fantastic - Then compared a few tracks between the SACD and the original 1987 CD which also sounds very good. But I'd say if you like this album there's enough of an improvement to make it worth getting the SACD. Crank it up and you get a full weighty detailed balanced warm sound - Have the 2022 vinyl but this is now my go to.

Got an original of this and got to say im disappointed by this Mofi one.
Side 1 lacking in detail where the original jumps out at you but this is probably down to it being faulty and I'll wait for replacement.
Other sides though Its quite clear there was no remaster.
The only detail advantage is it being 45 rpm covering more ground.
Its a bit wider in soundstage and a bit brighter but theres not much in it.
I picked up my VG original for £10. It does not justify the price tag but its still better just...
Really hoping Kevin Gray/Steve Hoffman pick this up to go with my Rumours I have on 45 as that one is bliss.

Not a great pressing, mine came unplayable even though it was new. Ended up framing it and using it as decoration. No, not human error, nor my turntable. Just a bad copy I guess, if everyone else's turned out fine.

Anyone know if this has the same issue as the 45rpm vinyl version? I'm staying clear until theres a definite answer and confirmation that it's been resolved. What an expensive f*UK up from Mofi

After reading the reviews here maybe I just got lucky but my copy is fantastic!

Really nice imaging & separation, some crackles but that could be a second wet clean needed because it’s VERY quiet & clean sounding. *Update…. Crackle & Pop gone after second clean, in fact, I had a Nqeuepn anti-static brush (the make up blusher type) yeah well ‘Don’t’ use it lol, it creates static, stick to the Audioquest Gold & Milty Zerostat, they are incredible. Don’t even need fancy equipment to test, simply a paper test/kitchen roll and the results are clear & of course with no static present, any minute paper fibres from the test blow straight off. (I use an Air blower after cleans).

It’s quite bright but in a complimentary way with nice distinguished highs. There was one track on side B I found a little ‘too much’ but that’s more my choice in music.

Anybody able to confirm yet the matrices for sides A & B on the replacement discs?
