- Criminally underrated pressing. Yes, it is a Club pressing BUT it's the SAME stampers cut by Capitol which are the same metal work for the other consumer pressings and the Japanese release (though on much quieter vinyl). I've owned this pressing since 1979 and I'm not letting it go. Grab a copy for yourself and enjoy this masterpiece.

Sounds phenomenal! Really quiet pressing and the mastering is really good. How do you follow-up “Rumours” in standing the test of time to become a cult classic? You do something different and fresh. That’s what the Beatles did and in our most recent time, bands such as Radiohead has done.
Tusk was a commercial failure at its release but it is now considered a classic record. This album is a pure vibe. This is my favourite Fleetwood Mac record even over Rumours. Might be my favourite double album of all time dare I say. Lindsey Buckingham made a great choice in wanting to change the Fleetwood Mac sound. We must be grateful for the Talking Heads putting out great music at the time as Buckingham loved them during the making of this album. Even though some might consider this album as a Buckingham vanity project, the Stevie Nicks & Christine McVie songs are some of the best they’ve ever written on this. Songs like “Over & Over”, “Sara”, “Storms”, “Sisters of the Moon”. “Honey Hi”, “Beautiful Child” just to name a few are all amazing. Great album and great pressing! referencing Tusk (2×LP, Album, Reissue, Repress) R1 3350
Quiet vinyl, wonderful clarity in every aspect - sounds a lot better than my 1975 self-titled from 2022. One of the best sounding records in my collection. Plus, of the 1975 - 1979 Mac records, this is my favourite.referencing Tusk (2×LP, Album, Stereo) P-5571~2W
I have a UK pressing https://www.discogs.com/release/7809453-Fleetwood-Mac-Tusk which I thought was pretty good, but this Japanese pressing absolutely blows it away. The dynamics are incredible. The drums on "Tusk" sound like they are right there in the room with you. The UK one sounds fine, but this one just has that magic.- Edited 8 months ago

Excellent pressing. Dead silent. Great sound. These were of course superbly recorded to begin with (Lindsey Buckingham famously being absolutely off his rocker on coke and obsessive about its recording - it becoming the most expensive rock album recorded until that date) and this pressing does it justice imo. Clean, detailed, great soundstage and deep deep bass. The packaging is somewhat fiddly but hey that’s what the original was like. And the art is absolutely gorgeous! I wouldn’t trade it for anything. One of my favourite album covers (and inners) ever! There are two sets of inner sleeves. One set is a smidge smaller than the other and they fit into one other perfectly. If there’s one criticism I have it’s that laminated paper inner sleeves tend to really stick to records and cause tiny scratches on removing and inserting them. My solution for these sort of sleeves is to use a good set of poly inners which themselves fit snugly into the existing inner set (yes I added another) and they work great. referencing Tusk (2×LP, Album, Stereo) P-5571~2W
i doubt you could get any better than this pressing of this album. truly excellent.
