Fleetwood Mac – Mystery To Me

Yes, this Japan pressing sounds excellent. Well balanced and alive.

I have a lot of non-fill on my copy. I had to return it. I could actually see a cloudy area in the vinyl where the majority of it is. Is spread across two songs on side one. The other side is a little noisy between tracks but doesn't distract too much. Overall happy to have this. Optimal generally does good vinyl work. I seem to be in the minority and others have a great copy. I'd still recommend it vs hunting down a used original. Grab it while you can.

Fantastic sounding LP front to back and one of the Fleetwood Mac albums I have always felt falls under the radar for a lot of people. Highly recommend picking up a copy with KENDUN mastering in the deadwax.

A tad on the bright side but it can be tamed with filters and/or equalizer settings. My OG Promo copy might be a better mix but I think this is a keeper. Looks super cool while spinning. Creates an optical illusion.

I know most people probably don’t speak of ‘Mystery To Me’ as being the best Fleetwood Mac album but count me in as I agree it’s my favorite and I do think it may be their best. I’m definitely a fan of the Bob Welch years/albums!! This album is VERY underrated.

Not a good sounding pressing totally disappointed my search continues it's flat

mine was printed without any information on the side two label, jusy completely blank with the reprise logo and address at the bottom. i can’t find any information on this, is it a one of a kind copy? is it more valuable?

Nice pressing. Almost no surface noise. Good dynamics, crystal clear sound.

I wish all reissues would sound like this record. Good old time. They did know their stuff.

I'm probably in a small minority, thinking this is Mac's best lineup and my favorite album. I was happy to see this wonderful album re-released. Bass could stand to come up a little and that's with two 10' Klipsch subs at normal volume. Otherwise, it is an excellent pressing, with a clean presentation. The blue translucent vinyl is beautiful and very quiet between passages. The gatefold jacket is somewhat thin but what do you expect for a $24 non AAA release. I'm thinking this is more on the 150 gram side and not 180, but never the less it's a marvelous album and a must have for Mac fans.

Dead quiet but also no bottom end (bass shy) - piercing at times, tried on 3 different systems - unimpressed.
