- This record is a bit muddy compared to other KoRn releases, but it's not bad by any means. I just wish it was clearer sounding.
- UNBELIEVABLE sound quality! This is my first MOV vinyl and I will definitely be buying vinyls from them only (if available) from now on!
- Edited 5 years agoOkay, is this the best Korn album? No. But it is a nice change up, at least for one album. I'm glad they didn't stick to this sound, as it isn't sustainable, but it was great for a one off project. The people who get really mad over this album are usually just metal heads who can't accept anything even slightly different.
It's okay if you don't like this album and I understand why, but just because it isn't for you doesn't mean we who love it can't enjoy it.
The Path Of Totality is possibly the weirdest album in Korn's discography, but it's an interesting and downright fun listen. Although it is very much a product of it's time, it can still be enjoyed by those with an open mind.
Give this one a shot, it deserves a second chance. - I have a feeling this is not a "true 180g" vinyl. It looks and feels thinner than my other 180g vinyl... Regardless, still a good sounding record. Not the best Korn album out there, but this album actually grew on me.

Mixing together nu metal and dubstep is just as exquisite as mixing together vegemite and anchovies; it's horrid in every way. referencing The Path Of Totality (CD, Album) 1686-177282
As a modern metal/crossover band as korn definitaly is the music here differs not that much to the usual stuff of korn. But imo it is allways a gain for musicians to work with other musicians of any different kind of music scenes. I would say the songs sound very fresh and easy, also there are not that much of good tunes and ideas on the album and many songs sound not much different to NIN or Marylin manson. Allthough some outstanding numbers as Narcisstic cannibal or get up as well as the DVD makes this one even more interesting as the following output.referencing The Path Of Totality (CD, Album, DVD, DVD-Video, All Media, Special Edition, Digipak) RR7728-5
Dubstep/Metal Fans beware! Even though this is a solid album, this one isn't really that good compared to other Korn releases. So if you want more Metal, look at their older releases. If you want more Dubstep, I'd recommend looking for Skream or Benga. Enjoy!referencing The Path Of Totality (CD, Album, DVD, DVD-Video, All Media, Special Edition, Digipak) RR7728-5
I read a demo tape review for Korn in Metal Maniacs magazine
and bought their first cd as soon as it hit my local record shop
and ive been listening to and liking every single album since.
Some of them took some time and effort to grow on me, BUT
I gotta say this album just plain sucks.
The best i can say about it is that it is boring.
Its hard to explain you have to hear it..
I laughed and smiled when the Get Up! came on,
i thought this HAS to be a Skrillex song lol
And it was of course when i looked at the title.
Funny thing is i listen to metal and have only heard of Skrillex
from the tv show Beavis & Butt-head.
That squacking keyboard noise the guy likes is irratating
I get the feeling the only people who are gonna like this
is the whole Dub-Step crowd, which i'm not even sure how that genre is defined
..sounds like crap to me
