Leonard Cohen – Songs Of Love And Hate

Vinyl is flat, centred and free of surface noise. Mastering by Ryan K Smith is excellent - Cohen's voice is up front, and the instrumentation is nicely separated. Can't imagine the record sounding any better than this. Not noted on the listing, but also comes with a 12 x 12 booklet with lyrics.

Fantastic sounding LP with terrific rendering of Leonard's voice dead-center & bassy as all get-out. Stereo separation is good too, with background vocals & instruments nicely holographic in the mix, especially the acoustic guitars. Heavyweight vinyl itself is whisper-quiet & as flat as Manitoba...

I love this pressing. The white vinyl is a great complement to the cover, and the embossing is a nice touch. I'd take this over an original any day. Excellent and quiet.

A great Cohen album. Shockingly there is zero information in the package about the songs and personnel!

Oh! this record sounds so great from one of the best musical poets. The sound is so rich sonically it's like he's right in front of you. Flat and clean vinyl right out of the jacket. Don't pass up the opportunity to get this record at decent price.

Fantastic pressing similar to the version released for the record store day only in black vinyl. Mastered by Ryan K. Smith and pressed at Pallas in Germany. If you intend to buy this album, play it safe with this edition even considering the low cost!

This reissue pressing from Pallas is flawless. I can not compare with other versions, the mastering and sound is excellent!

Went through two copies, both of which were dished. Had to return, sadly. I was looking forward to this one.

I received 3 copies at my store, and all 3 of them suffer from a bad, what sounds like scratch across tracks 1 & 2 on side A. A loud pop on every revolution for a solid 3-4 minutes. Apparently, a pressing defect. Very disappointed, because otherwise, the sound quality is great.
