- Beim grünen Vinyl hört man bei ruhigen Passagen das Oberflächen Rauschen . Hört sich wirklich wie Strahlung an wenn der Geigerzähler anschlägt.
- Anyone that thinks I sampled VFT location for my track darkside.....no I didn't.
I played it (warm pad d5) and made my track between 91-92. A chord progression it appears we both found in a similar sound. I was unaware of this VFT track until moments ago when being made aware that some one wrongly stated that's what I did. - Hailing from just across the border to Detroit in Windsor, Canada was Richie Hawtin. His Plus 8 Records pushed faster tempos and hard sounds. "Location" by VFT stands out on this comp as being a bit more melodic.
- Referencing CD issue PLUS8022CD, I have most of these on vinyl and wanted a clean sounding souce to preserve my vinyl.
Damn CD is taken from Vinyls in the first place. Avoid CD issue if you want clean source, what a rip off - Hello all, just got a black vinyl version recently,i have the coloured version, and the sound quality is like night and day. The coloured version sounds really bad although the colour is excellent, so the news is you need to have both versions, the difference is that great. I ve not noticed such a variation on other Plus 8 records so i have to presume its something to do with this particuler colour. I have both coloured and black vinyl versions of Vol 1 and there s no particular difference in sound quality.
- oh - no comment??
alone this artwork is a piece of art.
the tracks are pure techno underground 1992, my favorites are the Let The Circle-track (hardcore, could be an early Industrial Strength tune), after this the Psyance track (pitched on 144 bpm/master tempo= becomes a tribal progressive touch), yes, and the V.F.T. track too - oh man thats this shit heavenly strings and a water splashin shower of ecstacy. pure pleasure, Tucker/Hawtin collaboration: great work. track 4 is a analog hard bunker techno sequenced industrial sound. mental trip. 1992.
fresh nature. Flying. Stalker s pumpin. F###: theres No. 5: first hard acid, then deep house straight bombin + cool claps, hypnotic groov drive. Thats underground acid, with max high quality: a legend of techno history; for this Richie gets the techno world cup in this era. gentle 303 kisses your soul. Track 6 is hard underground techno without 303(!) but driven in a PCP-way: Frankfurt Jupiter hardcore...
track 8 is solala IMO, Fever on pos 9 has to be slowed down to around 132 bpm this is the tempo the 303 fits in.
the closing track is a hard stompin tekkno track, you must love him because its the industrial motor - straight on and on, producing power for the land: machine thundering terror. but slow it down: the more comes with the tempo changing playing of the tracks...
this is music sex
and a part of the Mirror Generation - the revenge of the old school gems
