Agree with the previous poster. The music is great but the pressing is poor. One of those vinyls that look bad straight out of the bag from new... no shine to the vinyl at all. The sound is like listening with cloth over your ears, very flat. Having said that there's no pops or crackle the pressing is, unfortunately just crap! Or maybe they just went for that Tame Impala Innerspeaker sound which is compressed to hell!

As great as this album is, this record was pressed pretty poorly. The sound is very dull.

Just came upon a near mint condition Frond LP in rural Northern California! Looks almost to have never been played! $13.99 at the local shop. Can't contain my happiness. <3 POND FOREVER <3

Great songs, great sound, really good quality pressing. There was a time in 2010 when you could buy this on Amazon US for $20. That's where I got mine. Really shows you have to be there when this music is new.

Great record! Especially lucky it seems to have picked it up when it was released! Holy crap go Perth.

Probably the best Pond album in my opinion, the one to go for if you are new to them. We need a reissue on vinyl!

I think this is the luckiest I have ever been buying a record. I'm from Perth in Western Australia (same city as Pond) but found my copy second hand at a record store in Tokyo for the equivalent of $A14. Such a great record to have in the collection! As other posters have noted it's a brilliant pressing.

Picked up a copy today from Missing Link in Melbourne for $150 (!) and I have to say this is one of the best pressings of any record I've ever heard, not a pop nor crackle and not even the slightest hint of surface noise. And it was a used copy at that. Seriously impressed.

as i write this you can still get the CD version of this on ebay for around $15 - $20. not sure how folks think they can get away with selling them for $130. the vinyl version's pretty hard to come by but not the CD.
