the Helical Scan aka Florence aka Terrace is one of the best IDM (can I call it IDM?) tracks I've ever heard. It slaps hard in the first half, then the chords come in halfway and it turns into this very melancholic, gloomy symphony which almost brings me to tears. I love it :(

The Izm remix is top notch with futuristic bass layers fillin your carpet with a solid drumride. Love the effects too. https://speedyj.bandcamp.com/track/hayfever-izm-mix

AA2 "Like A Tim Mix" it is. Mix and match it with "Si Begg - Futureisnow" for enlightment.

The "Hayfever" remixes (only available on some versions of this maxi-single) are the best tracks on here, IMO.

As is so often the case with Jochem Paap productions, the remixes don't live up to his own originals. Both versions of Ni Go Snix, the original edit and the snix mix, are made of wall to wall devastating and distorted rhythmic textures, thundering noises and twangs, while trembling bass lines hit hard from the background.
The snix mix has virtually no percussion, but is tweaked and taken as far as possible, with demented overtones and howling melodies painfully entering your head.
MuZiq's remix is interesting though, as it has a really nice melodic break down halfway through the track, and then comes back all rough and unpolished for the grand finale.
If you've enjoyed either "Public energy #1" or "Patterns (remix)", then have no worries. There is more of that experimenting, loud and tongue in cheek Speedy J goodness here!
