How can a person crawl deeper in the rabbit hole than he did already on such a powerful record as his hailed debut? Critics say it's not the next step to his persona. While if you listen carefully you hear much more mucisianship and a more cohesive album then his previous one. A Sufi & A Killer was a masterpiece on its own, but also sounded like a showcase of the productionwork done on it, especially by The Gaslamp Killer. His own productions on MU.ZZ.LE are build on heavier rhythms that have wandered longer in to the desert. They have suffered from the heat and the dryness. They´ve got dried like hallucinogenic mushrooms. Gonjasufi locked them up in his cave and made friends with them, made love with them. Those nights he spend with them is felt on these songs and the listener gets drifted along as the vinyl spins them out. Couldn't get any better.
