Fittingly on ‘Bar …’, Aube arms himself with a Firstman SQ-01, precursor to the TB-303, to reimagine what the earliest stirrings within acid’s primal soup might have sounded like. Formative nucleic lines emerge; droning, hissing, whispering, intimating imminence. Like culture in a petri dish, they grow, coil, wind, writhe and thrive, eventually to reverberate in cathedral-like glory, dividing, replicating, mutating … etc.
In other words, highly recommended by this particular wanker.
