referencing Send You (LP, Album) FEEL 1
This is the scintillating debut from Dunedin’s Sneaky Feelings.
This album is chock full of shimmering, beautifully innocent pop songs, it’s definitely one of my favorites from the Nunnery.
Check out the wistfully wobbly “Waiting for Touchdown” or the soaring, melodic sweep of “Someone Else’s Eyes”, then there is the storming “Won’t Change”, with its vibrato laden bass organ groove and scorching lead guitar break.
The highest of highlights for me though is Matthew Bannister’s “Not To Take Sides”; where does this guy find such incredible melodies?
It’s about time one of Aotearoa’s great LP’s was up for reappraisal!
