Reviews
- Edited one year agoMine has occasional pressing blemishes (superficial spots scattered across the grooves), not audible but needs to be mentioned :-(
- Edited 2 years agoJust more repackaging of the stuff EMI owns and the Cramps don't, so they have no control. The sleeves which aren't reproductions of original singles are just lazily slapped together. Stuff a consummate artist like Lux never would've approved. Compare the artwork he did for the Date With Elvis era singles and the Stay Sick era singles to the crappy magazine spread hack work here, and see what I mean. Yeah, it's rare now. Yeah, Cramps fans will spend a lot of money on it because Cramps fans need to have everything. But aside from the original singles here, it's just a whore dressed up real pretty. It was 75 bucks new, and even that's kind of a rip off. I couldn't imagine plunking down 300 bucks for it. That's money better spent on an original copy of Human Fly with the glow sleeve.
Anyway, I bought it. - If anyone with the box set wants to sell just the Twist and Shout / Uranium Rock 7" and/or Crusher 7", please send me a message.
- Someone please sell me this for a reasonable price, I kept meaning to order it when it was around and then just forgot. I was under the impression that there were two pressings. One from 2011 and another re-press in 2014.
- Vinyl box contains flat finish picture sleeves instead of glossy, which was a bit of a disappointment.
