Razor (2) – Custom Killing

Thank you HRR as usual, you resuscitated an album that was almost un-listenable originally even though it was an obviously good and ambitious album by Razor. You rock HRR, I got for your remasters of so many great thrash/speed/early death metal and you got that thin guitar sound to be as powerful as possible without scrambling everything (looking at those who remastered Nuclear Assault's Handle With Care...I think you did it too, but later, haven't gotten it yet). Great job. Please do the same with the mighty Sacrifice (canada) first 3 albums!

This album was rescued from obscurity! Wow. High Roller Recs have done some of the best remasters I have ever heard of albums I wish sounded better when I heard them first, like this one, the original sounds so thin, the guitar still sound a bit thin and quiet but not as badly as it was. What a strange follow-up to Malicious Intent which had a production on par with Evil Invaders (although not as good), both released a year and two years respectively before this one originally.

Totally underated album. I have the original press on fist fight but would love to get a reissue on CD too. Upto now imo Razor have done a top job on remasters all sounding awesome and for the better regardless of any compression or limiting etc
