Is there a better LP from the early 80's!? Its a perfect Lp, even the 2 covers are wonderfully done, Amazing sound.

I've never quite known what reviewers meant by "quiet" (as I'm a relative newbie). And listening to this, now I know. I am floored.

I lucked out. I picked up a used copy for a good price and it's flat and pretty silent aside from the tiniest of ticks, which could have been the music/percussion, or just some stray dust that flicked out. It wasn't enough for me to even consider looking into it - we are talking extremely minimal. I have an original copy as well. Original pressings are better 9 out of 10 times as they usually sound softer, more natural, and easy on the ears, but this newer master isn't bad at all. I'm a fan of the album so I'm happy to own both. I picked this one up after the original just to check out the remaster and because it was so affordable. I agree with some of the other assessments on the inner sleeve. It's thick cardboard and extremely hard to get it into the outer sleeve. I store all my records in MoFi inners so it's not an issue for me. I place the inner sleeve in the jacket and slide the record in and out of the MoFi with the opening on the same side of the outer sleeve opening. I then store the complete record right side up in an outer sleeve to keep it from accidentally sliding out. Works great.
