5 out of 5. Wonderful sound quality. It's one of the great movie's soundtracks. The majority of the soundtrack is a score. Bryan Ferry was one of the composers for this album.

Great music and quality of the pressing. Dynamic and quiet. Except for that one track - a waltz piece - that has a very different recording quality compared to the rest. Still a wonderful collection of music and the Chinese musical instruments.

A beautiful high quality vinyl recording. The gatefold details add a lot of quality to the product. Probably one of the most moving interpretations of “The Last Emperor”, having heard many of master Sakamoto's solo piano and trio performances.

One of Ryuichi Sakamoto's best scores, and this Canadian pressing sounds very good.

This is an awesome sounding record and a beautiful package all around. Well worth the few extra bucks and shames most records sold at this price. If you like this music you won't be sorry getting this vinyl package it's a joy to own.

Great pressing! Flat, absolutely quiet and open sound. During years I hoped for a good reissue of this album because all the used pressings I came accross were full of crackles and pops. 5 Stars!
