His drug death in 1996 didn't make Tobias Gruben a legend such as Cobain or Curtis. Nevertheless he contributed a real underground-jewel with this album in 1989. A class mate of Nick Cave and "Neubauten" Gruben's "Die Erde" should not be missed out on every early-industrial-mix, that's supposed to be called cool! Increadible cover-versions of "Hard Rain" and "Woodstock"... - Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell turned inside out!
