Notes
The songs on this album are remixed to give a more cohesive sound as the production on songs from 1974 to 1987 differed a lot, particularly the drum sound.
The album includes a few recordings unique to this release:
The first two songs "Let's Put The X In Sex" and "(You Make Me) Rock Hard" are new 1988 songs first released on this album.
"Beth" is a new 1988 version with then-drummer Eric Carr replacing the original vocals by Peter Criss
"Deuce" is the same recording as on the debut album, somewhat remixed, however here the fade comes 17 seconds later, mostly adding more soloing by Ace Frehley towards the end so this is in a way an "extended version".
The version of "Rock and Roll All Nite" is from 1975, however on this album is an entirely different take than on any other releases, with a different bass line by Gene Simmons as most obvious evidence. The bass line is taken from an earlier demo along with the drums, and this version is also slightly longer due to a different fade.

- It's a pretty good compilation album. Got the big hits and then some brand new songs/unreleased material. For an average kiss fan or not a huge one but likes the hits, this is a good compilation.
Thing to know though. Some of the songs such as, Love Gun, I Love It Loud, have slightly altered mixes. It might not be a big deal to some, though worth mentioning. Some countries have slightly different track listings for this compilation. This being the Europe pressing, it has present Crazy Crazy Nights. Which was a massive hit in the UK, which is why it's there. Though the song isn't present on the American pressings. Instead, they have Deuce and Calling Dr Love.
Only thing I wish they done with this release was make it 2LP. So the songs are not on a single disc. To help the songs breathe a little bit more. As there are 7-8 songs per side. Though it sounds really good the pressing non the less. - My copy has everything the same here except the labels on LP says Philips at the top and small Vertigo logo on bottom. Any info on this release??
- I can't believe I found this version in a shop. It's somehow shocking to see that Czechoslovakia had its own release but at the same time it's comforting to see the classic Supraphon printing on the CD. Wonderful album.
- Not mentioned above, but if you look at the Side 2 label the album's title is misspelled as "Trashes"! I have this version.
- Приобрёл Югославскую версию на пробу. Очень качественная запись, никаких тресков, лишь небольшой песок. Рекомендую
- I bought a non gatefold Version of this 15 Years of KISSTORY Picture Disc. I cannot find any notice of this version anywhere. Who knows something about it?
