All I can say is these Smiths singles were meant to be played on 12” 45rpm’s. Never heard them sound so good. The Draize Train is an excellent B-side as well, I can’t believe I had never heard it before picking this up.

Hi, I cannot find one of my versions. Its from the UK.
It has RT193 A1 TimTom MPO on the A-side and RT 193 B1 MPO I DREAMT ABOUT STEW LAST NIGHT on the B-side
It has ordinary picture sleeve and is a SOLID CENTRE SINGLE.
Can I add it myseldning?

This came out in 1986, not 1985. It came out after Bigmouth Strikes Again and not longer after The Queen is Dead album

While essentially a rewrite of T. Rex's classic "Metal Guru," "Panic" contains enough sly humor and catchy singalong potential to stand on its own. The listener's personal bias will dictate whether the appropriation constitutes homage or theft. The b-side is a bit of a letdown, as it contains only a track from the previous LP "The Queen is Dead" and a mildly interesting, moody instrumental.
