Awesome single. For me, Quarterdrawing of the Dog stands out as one of my favorite B-sides of all time. Can't get over the atmosphere of the track.

One of my lovely 12". Contains everything that i am looking for in a single: The regular version, the 12" mix, some extra tracks and a superior sound running at 45 rpm.
Beware of this pressing! Not that it's bad or poorly mastered but because I played it too loud and it shredded my woofers! Kinda like what happened with I played PIL's Metal Box. Those 45 rpm pressings from the 80's are dangerous! Back when they knew how to master and cut vinyl.
Ordinarily I consider the UK pressings to be superior to all others (better mastering, cuts, packaging). Not on this one though- Quarterdrawing Of The Dog is the full length version which is a good minute and a half longer than the UK fade version. The song ends to its natural conclusion.

And also I forgot to say it was an interesting piece of artwork historically which also lost its educational use when withdrawn-greek/roman mythology??
Not mentioned yet but as I remember the 12" UK version as above didn't last long as someone such as Mrs.Thatcher or Mary Whitehouse felt the label was considered too risqué for sex education at schools and had to be withjdrawn as soon as possible before the masses of youngsters got the right idea!Well you know how it goes!

My copy has got a stamp on the label on side 2 stating Nov 20 1985
It appears this was previously submitted as release #380586. May need to be merged.
