Siouxsie & The Banshees – Tinderbox

No problem for me, side numbers 1/2 are corrects, corresponding to the titles, as shown on the pictures upside.
Beautiful pressing, bright and silent.

The copy I have is a combination of the variants listed here. Side A matches variant 2 with the "SR-2" part, and Side B matches variant 1 with the "SR-1". What's missing is that after the SRC logo on both sides, mine follows with a "1-1".

I am absolutely in love with this album! Sadly I do not have this vinyl yet, I am searching, but nothing. I also prefer to listen to vinyl before I buy it so that's why I am not buying it online.

My favorite Siouxsie and the Banshees album. There's not a bad track on this record. My favorites are (of course) Cities in Dust, This Unrest and the overlooked, 92 Degrees. Great album, from start to finish.

Best sounding CD of this great album. 5 great bonus tracks too. Pleasant mastering. A winner !

Finally got around to listening to this. Mine sounds great.

Wanted to comment on this additional masterpiece in the Banshees collection. Of course it is incredible, goes without saying. My favorite track besides Cities in Dust might be The Sweetest Chill. Something about the guitar riff hits me hard, beautiful.

I want to comment as well because in the used copy I purchased, some jerk cut out Siouxsie's photo from the inner sleeve. Was and still am shocked! I assume someone wanted to put her photo on their wall or in a scrapbook. Sad to be missing her photo but definitely makes for a unique copy.

Managed to snag a cheap copy, and have to say, as the production on this album is so basic for the most part, I can't say the half speed mastering has made much difference at all. At least mine played through fine.

I am quite unsure as to what I am reading with many of these reviews. I bought mine two years ago from Amazon uk, got it then gave it a proper wash with my Spincare machine, let it dry then two days later after a proper dry I played it on my set up.
I use a Rega P7 with a six month old Rega Ania MC cartridge, into Arcam pre/power amps,bi- wired and bi -amped into B and W 703s, I am 60 with a certain amount of very high frequency hearing loss due to too many Motorhead type gigs in my late teenage years.
I find it sounds really full, not weak as some are saying. The whole album rocks with great vocals. I am not hearing ( ?!?!) any distortion.
Now whether it's people's own set up or just unlucky pressings I just don't know. At high volumes,and mine can get very loud, I still find it a great post punk record.
Sometimes I'm not certain how our opinions can be so different. Maybe it's my hearing loss working to my advantage,I dunno. But all listening reviews are totally subjective, totally.
So if you're unsure then I would say go for it. But that's me !!!
