Imagine my disappointment getting this from a fairly reputable online store in my country, stating that it is the RSD release, only to receive it a few months after ordering, and finding out it's the 2020 repress.....

I'd echo most of the other reviews here; great album and quality is awesome but a little light on bass for what you'd expect for these batshit crazy guys. No issues with the press at all, got a feeling we won't see a lot of represses in the future. Let me rephrase that: buy it.

Record came super dirty but I got it cleaned off and the sound quality is phenomenal. Super crisp throughout, except the first track, “get got” (this track however has a very muddy mix in general in my opinion). Something to note is that my copy said black and white split on the outer cellophane but the record is a 180g all black vinyl, and I’ve heard these had a lot of issues. All in all I’m very happy I snagged this up. Check your local record store before picking one up at these prices, I got mine for around $20.

As far as I'm aware the bass is just exactly the same as the digital version, I did an A/B listening and barely found any difference between the two, maybe because I got a pressing that was cut at MPO? If anything I don't think the vinyl version hits the same exact high frequencies the digital version does though, but the dynamic range is still well preserved, even if DG isn't a band known for being DR friendly. Good pressing.

My copy plays beautifully. No skips whatsoever, no surface noise, pops or cracks. Bass was a little light but that’s alright with me. 9/10 copy.

Record came pretty scuffed, but probably just from being stored in another unlined paper sleeve (sigh).

However, the record is actually dead quiet and this shit bangs. There will be division on this, but I think this mix on this press is really solid. It feels properly tamed, it'll still blow out your speakers, but only if you really want it to. For all the crazy noises and effects happening, it comes through really clear. Not enough bass to shake your house, but definitely enough for me.

Not a bad way to experience Death Grips on vinyl. And lemme tell ya, get em while you can. Because their vinyl releases are only gonna get more scarce/go up in value.

I don't think We Are Vinyl was a thing in 2012. I'm guessing this is a 2015-19 repress.

Given that they made this mistake twice in a row with NLDW and TMS I'm waiting to see how they're going to fuck up the next one (hopefully TPTB). Also would this be an Epic Records or Thirdworlds issue?
