Once I eventually zerostated it out of the inner sleeve, it's clean and no surface noise... But it's a really poor mastering job. The low end is really mushy (and it was never a hyped low end album anyway) but the highs are absolutely smudged. My 90s CD sounds way more entertaining. Completely wasted opportunity to present the album as well sonically as they have with the design and disc colour.
Ended up tearing the printed inner sleeve at the sides because the record was packed so tight. Just provide a proper sleeve please 👎
Anyone elses copy of this just the noisiest poorly pressed record they have ever heard? Mine is loud ticks and pops almost all over it. It's unlistenable.
Willing to trade a sealed copy of the ultra rate Pistachio Green Imaginary Third LP for this if anyone has an extra.
