Reviews
- A bit of surface noise during track 1, side A but otherwise WOW, this is how a record should sound. So dynamic and punchy throughout. Very, very impressed with these Matador Spoon reissues.

Excellent original pressing! In order to tell if you have this original vs. the represses out there:
1. The original press is about 120 gram
2. The OG printed inner sleeve is matte and NOT slick or shiny like the repress
3. The sleeve has NO barcode on the sleeve as the code was a sticker on the shrink.
4. The merge logo (only 1”1/4 long on OG vs 1”1/2 on the repress) and type on the back bottom of the cover is smaller than the repress.
5. The OG cover has a matte finish vs a slightly slick cover for the repress.- Incredible pressing. Really dynamic and huge soundstage. The instrumentals are a bit ‘forward’ in the mix but it just sounds so good I don’t really mind.
- 10 years after purchase, my pressing sounds incredible. It captures a lot of the nuance on the recording and really benefits from the expanded soundstage.
- I don't know where it was plated and pressed. But I would go for Merge pressing which is cut by Golden and pressed at RTI. I didn't compare them both. but considering these 2 labels releases, Merge all the way
- Fantastic pressing and mastering as all the Spoon slay on cue re-cuts have proved to be. Very quiet vinyl and great dynamics.

The best Spoon album in my opinion! Every song is a hit. My favorite being "The way we get by". Very much looking forward to their upcoming show in Lawrence,KS.
