This really needs the 2-LP deluxe vinyl treatment! What an amazing album, the despair turned into catharsis through the creation of this music, he really needed to release all those feelings of losing his wife to her illness they both battled together.

I have a front cover scan of a multichannel DTS CD release of this title from EMI France with the catalog number 8 536451 2. I've never found one for sale anywhere and I wonder if it actually exists. If someone has a copy and can fill in the Discog release details, that would be very much appreciated.

The soul of Pink Floyd, whithout him they couldn't do anything. Roger Waters didn't understand it.

This wonderful album is recorded in Qsound. If you have a multi-channel system then good old Dolby ProLogic II does a really decent job of decoding the stereo signal. Sure, it is not true multi-channel but it is a lot more musical than fake surround.

This is a masterpiece. Just goes to show you that Rick Wright was a five star songwriter. Besides, the cast of musicians on this record speaks for itself : Dominic Miller, Manu Katché, Pino Palladino … I mean how can this be a lame record with such musicians ? It just cant !  

Amazing album! Every tracks have some interesting lines about electronic rock sounds from space prog era. A big surprise for me, maybe best Rick Wright's work since 'Wish You Were Here'

This album is a must have for Pink Floyd and Richard Wright fans. Wrights haunting vocals and synthesizer work is up there with the best Pink Floyd offerings. It has its own sound but it easily fits into the PF universe.
