This collection alternately weaves Walker's and White's work together in an incredibly coherent way. The album boasts a restrained, quieter sensibility than most contemporary tech albums, with evocative soundscapes anchored by an undercurrent of insistent rhythms. Among many strong points, the shift from Walker's Cloud City to White's Cumulus Bloom is one to listen for. Not so much discordant as it is stunning, and it's essential for followers of either or both artists.
