The pressing is top notch as almost always with MOV/RI. My copy is flat and nr silent. I wish all new records were pressed this well.
It doesnt sound "digital" to me as pee the below review. I wont say its a shining audiphile release but mine is very listenable and no shrillness to note but then i lean to the warmer and colourful playback equipment- Edited 2 years ago

Just gave this a first listen, pressing quality is decent. Surface noise is low..maybe a couple of clicks here n there but nothing major. Record arrived a bit warped but luckily didn’t affect playback.
Not sure about the sound, it’s decent but nothing special.
Definitely doesn’t have the sound of my OG parliament records…cymbals and hats definitely sound a bit shrill and digital sounding. It’s listenable but I was hoping for more.
I haven’t got the original to compare, but I’m assuming this was not an AAA cut (I wish all reissues would specify these details)
But usually when they don’t tell you, it means that it’s cut from a digital file.
Musically it’s a great album with Bernie doing his thang!
Hopefully I’ll get to hear an original sometime. referencing All The Woo In The World (LP, Album) AB 4209
Practically everything about this release is perfect. Right down to the magnificent cover. This album has already attained a level of stature that is comparable to Eddie Hazel's Game Dames album from 1977. Insurance Man For The Funk will always have a place in my all time top 10 P-Funk classics.- Edited 4 years ago

You would really do yourself a fovour and seek out the original pressing. Things like this I don't even bother with the RSD press. They rush this stuff out and there are quality issues.referencing All The Woo In The World (LP, Album, Record Store Day, Limited Edition, Reissue, Orange) 88985409601
Excellent RSD release. I actually took a chance with this one. I bought it because of the cover TBH.- Edited 7 years ago

Yes the cover is atrocious. Super dark, not good. But I really don't give two shits about that because the pressing and sound of this LP is legit af. Mastered superbly, well balanced, tone rich, punchy drums, deep bass, beautiful clarity and definition, vocal harmonies sound wonderful. No pressing flaws, just a flat and dead quiet LP of some good funkin music.
