Only two releases of this album are cut from the master tapes: the original record, and this 2017 Esoteric/Cherry Red CD. Don’t buy any other version! The other CD versions are transferred from worn vinyl.

The term "remastered" used here is a bit of a misnomer since it sounds like the album was sourced from a cassette tape copy of the original LP. This has now been reissued by Esoteric, remastered from the original tapes, and it's a marked improvement. Get that one instead and avoid any earlier CDs.
