Angels & Airwaves – Love

Got this at my local record store for $40 and it’s the best $40 bucks I’ve ever spent! No flaws at all. All sides play perfect. Love the green color as well!

With my copy, both records are noticeably warped. It does impact play a bit on Side A, but not horribly.

My A/B is a little warped, sounds pretty decent for the most part. A little surface noise and few pops. Definitely not the worst, but not the best, either.

Slight Warped on both but plays fine on the Rega P6 . Sounds fantastic from a good pressing.

Like most, my second record has a rather bad warp/lipping which fortunately doesn’t affect playback. Sound quality of this pressing is very good. Alittle bit of static/popping at the start and end of sides A/C. The only criticism is on the gatefold jackets which have been sourced from the CD artwork and expanded so are of low quality.

My copy is super quiet, realistic and have good sound, the drums and bass seem to be in the room, and it have good presence and definition. it sounds fantastic, great separation.

definite warp on this, especially on one particular side of LP1. it sounds fantastic though, so i have no issues. people with “real” record players should have no problems with playback. i’ve found most pressings since the sudden LP rush over the last few years have had some level of warp with no effect on sound. this sounds much better than my WDNTW press from SRC a few years back, and a bit better than my iEmpire as well. 5/5

Experienced similar wobble warp issues others posted here. My replacement copy was also worse than the original but playback is good. This was disappointing, as it sounds fantastic outside of a bit of crackle at beginning/end of both discs (need to complete a cleaning). Labels are centered, but the album jacket is a bit springy, as I can can barely close it.

So happy to have this on vinyl. Hopefully disc 2 will be better.

I do not have any previous pressings to compare this one to. Disc one was nice and flat, Disc two has a bit of a warp but my P6 doesn't seem to have an issue with it. After a cleaning, the discs themselves sound nice and quiet. Virtually no surface noise, pops or sibilance or distortion! (The latter often being an issue with non-audiophile label reissues!). I'd say this was well worth the $32 price tag and I'm happy to finally own it before this sells out and goes out of print again!

Mine is pretty wobbly/warped, but doesn't seem to affect playback. A bit of a bummer cosmetically and I have to be careful dropping the needle on the starting groove. I asked for a replacement and Newbury came through with one but unfortunately that replacement was even worse than the first copy I had lol. Still sounds okay, but something to be noted.
