Menace* & Tracid* – Buchla 200e

A decent comeback from Kai Franz who didn't produce anything for years. even though he produced this with another producer it still counts as something he participated creating. Sad that his "Trance & Acid" logo has been dead since about 2004 when he collaborated with other similar German producers such as Mijk Van Dyk & Ramon Zenker his style can now be considered as "Minimal, House & Tech House" which isn't special by todays stanards and "Acid" music is getting rarer each year so his logo could had been somewhat unique today if he continued producing "Acid Trance" even if it's pretty unoriginal compared to his early works by the names "Mac Acid" "Formic Acid" and the W.O.W production which made one of the rarest trance vinyls that many people here want. About this production two words: Nothing Special. Even though I haven't listened to enough Tech House to classify this a "Generic" all the sounds have been invented and heard already. Still, better than a lot of electro-house bullshit that is made by wannabes like DJ Tiesto and friends. With some practice (And some luck) Kai might be up to some stellar productions. I have my fingers crossed this Once-great producer doesn't end up in the sweer ranks that DJ Tiesto is dwelling on today.
