I did some comparisons between the Speakers Corner 320 and 2012 RSD Kevin Gray cuts and find myself enjoying both.
The main differences is that the SC typically has a little more bass, reverb and stereo separation while the RSD is brighter. Its not enormous and I find those differences both work depending on the song. I do lean towards the SC as the overall better release as it does often sound more full without muffling anything with the exception of Walk on the Wild Side where I find Kevin struck a slightly better balance. The RSD also plays cleanly while 320 probably took up too much space with the extra groove spacing or bass which makes some of the last loud choir and saxophone notes distort.
However the pressing itself is much better whereas Kevins cut unfortunately got dealt the United card providing noisy backgrounds no matter how much you clean. Speakers Corners version really is a no brainer for most in this case.
Equipment Used:
Technics SL-1210GR Turntable with ATVM95ML Cartridge
iFi Zen Phono
Cyrus 2 Amplifier
System Fidelity SF-3050 Tower Speakers

This pressing is good, clear vocals, especially on Perfect day and Walk on the wild side, good drums also

I have heard lots of pressings of this vinyl, and this is the best one yet. The audio quality is outstanding. Huge depth and separation. I can’t believe how good this sounds. How did they do this repress - anyone know? Was it remixed at all?
One of the best sounding pressings I've ever heard on my life.
Impeccable soundstage, basses that will shake your floor, mids that breathe to life and highs that chill on your spine.
A perfect mastering!
PS: the drums on Andy's Chest will KICK YOU IN THE FACE

I've had mine for a little over a year. Sonically flawless other than some IGD on the final track. Incredible bass dynamics. The LP is slightly dished, but frankly what new vinyl isn't these days. Still an easy 5/5.

yes this is probably one of the best pressings i own and ever will own and after going from an ortofon 2m blue which made the bass more bloated sounding and overpowering to an AT VM740ML the sound tightened up and has superior separation. Anyone with a complaint should play around with a different stylus before being too critical.

A more "modern" sound on the mastering than the bass heavy originals and Speakers Corner.

Yip this pressing really is tops. Bass is strong as others say but it’s all part of an outstanding pressing.
Record is quiet, not warped. A winner 😎
