Excellent SQ for the format, a quality compilation too !

These are remixes by Giles Martin, the son of George Martin. It's also remastered. The sound quality is great, but some of the mixes are failures. Most notably "Get Back" where the drums are mixed very low. Also "Come Together" has very low volume level compared to the other tracks. I don't know if this was a mistake, but I checked on Spotify and it's the same there. For me, it's a pass.

I'm amazed by how negative some of these comments are. These remixes are absolutely wonderful to me. Quite a bit more faithful to the original stereos than later remixes, yet still massive improvements, but significantly better balanced and much more lively. I also prefer many of these mixes to the redos on the 1962 - 1966 remix.

27 songs by the Beatles that hit the number one position on the chart in either the USA or the UK. Of course this is a five star collection.

The enormous credit list should give one a sense of perspective when assessing this Beatles love-in. Who's buying this? This is for aficionados. Wallow and enjoy! A spectacular effort!!!

I like the Beatles but this comp sounds terrible to me... I'm very disappointed. If it would be my very first contact with Beatles, I might never get back to them. Any of my old LPs sound better and more enjoyable to me. Even Antrop Russian pirates. Shots fired, Apple!

The bass on this pressing is annoyingly loud. Stopped listening after Penny Lane. (I started with side 4).

Honnestly this pressing does not sound great at all - it s very dull and liveless - any blue or red uk pressing from the 70’s sounds 100 times better

Disappointed at how warped the records are for being brand new… sounds like the songs are sped up slightly. Of course I recognize the need for this, but imo I’d prefer paying for a 3xLP than compromise the original tempo. Otherwise, I love this album!
