On the 1995 vinyl pressings, the introduction of "Talk To Me" is different (does not start directly with Stuart singing) than the introduction of the CD pressings as well as the introduction of all later vinyl pressings. So it must be longer than 5:00 minutes... And it is a great one ! A must have for any Tindertsicks fan.

Just purchased a still sealed copy of this album. I must agree that the mastering and pressing are really not great. Seems like record 2 is the worse of the 2 which is odd. Very distant yet rough sounding which is a tough combination since you're more likely to want to listen to a distant mastering at a higher volume. For instance, "talk to me" on side C requires some volume early on to get the details and then you have to turn way down to withstand that hashy sound of the climax of the song. Quite disappointing.

To my ears, on side A the sound quality is great, a 5 stars without hesitate, but B side is not as good, it is less precise and some distortion is felt… arriving to C side and to “Talk to Me”, like said before, it is a mess!!! A lot of distortion felt on all tracks of C side and the same with D side.

It is my reference CD when it comes to hifi equipment comparing. Especially the violines and instrument location showing every weakness. Superb recording!

Pretty sure that there was a version with this cover that came without 7" - I've had mine since new and it never had one with it!
