Just found a brand new mint copy of this coloured vinyl, number 000248. Mine sounds fantastic, no hissing, a very quiet clean pressing. referencing Fear Of Fours (2×LP, Album, Limited Edition, Numbered, Reissue, Yellow/Black Mixed) MOVLP1381
so listened very closely again, but really no hissing on my copy. dead quiet great pressingreferencing Fear Of Fours (2×LP, Album, Limited Edition, Numbered, Reissue, Yellow/Black Mixed) MOVLP1381
Unfortunately, also my copy has constant hissing on first disc. Second disc sounds great.referencing Fear Of Fours (2×LP, Album, Limited Edition, Numbered, Reissue, Yellow/Black Mixed) MOVLP1381
Disc 1 has a constant hissing/distortion all the way through both sides a little bit annoying... disc 2 sounds perfect... beautiful edition 'tho the problems with disc 1 totally ruin the experience, sad I can't return it nowhere, so I have to live with it...referencing Fear Of Fours (2×LP, Album, Limited Edition, Numbered, Reissue, Yellow/Black Mixed) MOVLP1381
Surface noise noticeable in quiet parts... Will be returning.... just not up to MOV standards disappointing😁.... emailed them with quick response... No complaints they say....referencing Fear Of Fours (2×LP, Album, Limited Edition, Numbered, Reissue, Yellow/Black Mixed) MOVLP1381

In keeping with the album's title, the CD has no actual "track 4". Pop it into your computer to see... :-)- Edited 18 years agoLamb's second album, FEAR OF FOURS, shows them more focused, with a tighter grip on song structure. The rhythms, again, are breathtaking. The title, FEAR OF FOURS, comes from their aversion of the all-too-common 4/4 time signature found in most music today. So they craft tracks around less commonly used signatures, like the crazed 6/8 double bass jazz of "B Line." They don't abandon it altogether, however; "All In Your Hands" slithers with sinewy strength. Again, their range is noteworthy: right after the sultry "Bonfire" comes the frenetic and multi-faceted "Ear Parcel." It's quite a package! "Here" brings back the double bass for another workout; "Fly" has some mellow breaks; and "Alien" is dense and paranoid. Another stunner from Lamb. No need to fear them at all.

as if their debut album "Lamb" was not inventive and amazing enough, this second creation from Manchester duo Andy Barlow and Louis Rhodes is full of even more challenging layers and thoughts of sound than you would ever expect. from start to finish, stories develop to unfold your minds sharpest crease, which life may have nourished.
