T.Power – Police State

I have the Red version of TPOW001, but not numbered.

"Synthesis" is really a fantastic track; it evolves and develops, with wonderful storytelling progression. Luckily the pressing on blue vinyl is good and does not have the non-fill and constant crackle that all the other T-Power vinyls have. Pressing plants, shame on you.

"I can't hold it in, cause I just can't bear it. I'm sick of all the wack ni**as gettin all the merit"

Very unique and beautiful, my favorite T. Power's release. Dramatic and funky!

I would like to add some more gushing praise about this EP. T Power had his own style - I haven't come across another producer in that genre capable of melding quality beats, deep bass and tunes like this. Every track builds to a climax in which all the various elements and samples mix together perfectly. Actually I'm not even sure whether these are samples or his own synth playing. It is simply beautiful, so thank you Mr Power!

This is probably my all time fave T.Power 12". Both sides are just epic.

One of the greatest Jungle tunes.

This must be one of the best releases in drum'n' bass/jungle, if not in dance in general. Deep, lush and melodious yet carrying an infectious uptempo groove. The programming and production is outstanding.

This is the 12" that every jungle lover should own. I would rank this as the best release from T Power; complex, variable and progressive. Both tunes are growing bit by bit till the end from the beginning, an aspect which this genre is usually lacking.

Both tunes manage to be breakbeat, jungle, IDM and ambient a the same time. These tunes havent played that much, thats why I would say that perfect jungle/dnb party would end to Prospect For Democracy...

This release is something that you have to hear ... and beware, you'll have to hunt the 12" after you hear these tunes. This is even more clever than Mutant Jazz. Thank you Marc Royal, we want more of this kind of creative and innovative music!
