IMO it sounds too bright and lifeless. The original Motown cd release sounds way better

i hv both this US OG pressing and the OG japan. the US OG is miles ahead of the japanese in terms of mastering and dynamics. track used for comparison: "all nite long" . if im not wrong, the US was cut from the master by bernie grundman, and the japanese was re-eqed and cut from a dub by an unknown japanese engineer

If you like this album and want a high-quality sounding version, do NOT purchase this particular version from the EU. While the packaging is really excellent, it sounds absolutely awful. Do not waste your money if sound quality is important to you.

This is not a India version. But the a Netherlands version.

If you're at all interested in Lionel Richie, get this album. Just a great addition to any collection.

This is just a great sounding album. No hiss , no pops and no crackling. Just Lionel singing gracefully.
