Deftones – White Pony

this sounds great, dare i say amazing, especially when played loudly. no surface noise, not even in the runout, and the discs are nice and flat. my only complaint is the discs are extremely staticky, so much so that the sleeves were stuck to the records and it was hard to take them out, and it makes them attract a lot of dust. when will poly sleeves become industry standard already? anyway, buy this pressing with confidence.

Hearing is believing. This pressing is simply flawless. I’ve been wanting this album forever and glad I held out until I found this particular pressing. Especially for the price of $21 at my local record store!

Wow.. this pressing is AMAZING! Bought it based on the reviews on here alone and am glad I did.

Just got mine with a gift certificate from Turntable Lab in the mail. Everything was nice and flat with no warps. White Pony plays perfectly, no skips and it sounds great played loud. Have not gotten around to the Black Stallion disc yet. The booklet and art print are nice additions. Furthermore, while the slipcover is made of pretty flimsy card, the printing on the whole box is embossed, from the track listing to the White Pony logo. Overall I’m very pleased with it, and would definitely recommend adding this classic album to your collection!

I was expecting it to sound underwhelming considering the packaging felt extremly cheap and the discs arrived covered in dust brand new, but when I spun them it sounded just perfect. There is some noticeable surface noise but it doesn’t really interfere much with the experience and the mastering on this is incredible, especially the drums. Every track sounds super vivid and full of life and just takes that deftones feeling of floating in the ocean in the center of a raging storm to a whole new level. Phenomenal pressing, just wish the packaging was a bit better

My copy has the misprint on the back but Maverick is printed on the spine, so I guess all copies aren’t exactly the same.

I have a cheap one at my local shop. Must get the cash before someone buys it or the sellers charge it for 2x times more money.
