It's really damn easy to make a garbage industrial techno album (a plethora of crap is coming out of Germany). Thankfully, there's always Silent Servant and Sandwell District to actually put some thought and effort into their music. Whereas their contemporaries put empty techno beats on a loop and call it music, this album has layers, movement, and texture. The closing track really sends it home, with its droning, pulsating synths. It's extremely short, but this is as good of a sampler of quality techno as you can find in 2012. A diamond in a sea of manure, to be honest.
