Although I love the Photek mix, it always sounded to me like the levels were too hot during recording, to the point where the kick and bass sound distored. Oh well, still a good mix. It was actually the first version I ever heard, via this CD which i got free with a copy of Muzik magazine.

Destiny is one of favorite tracks from Zero 7. The band regularly features Tina Dico and Sia Fuller. They both have excellent voices that add to the harmonies they sing on various Zero & albums. I just wished they had cut more wax!

Destiny still brings the chills every time.

The remixes are generic and lose the magic of the original.

I must agree with kowalski the photek mix is gorgeous,
but must strongly disagree with his sumation of the original, it is a now timeless classic, and i for one will never tire of hearing it, for is is close to true bliss in audio. it features some of Sia Furler's greatest vocal work. Also the Roni Size mix of End Theme included on this release is a great example of non-genreic drum & bass, well worth a listen!

Although the original version has long ago lost its appeal due to it being on countless chillout compilations and adverts, the photek mix, however, is gorgeous. Similar in style to his collaboration with Robert Owens; 'Mine To Give'.
