This release is jam-packed with remixes from some of the biggest names in the progressive trance genre. To lead the pack, the A Side has Mike Foyle and John O'Callaghan teaming up to present an uplifting, piano filled progressive trance track. Suitable for a peak-time set, the song's memorable melodies are certainly pleasing to the ear.
On the slightly harder progressive trance edge are the remixes on the B side, led by Sean Tyas. He retains the piano elements, but adds a more energetic build with a massive break. Mastermind Gareth Emery closes out the side with his hands-in-the-air peak-time progressive trance remix, insisting on a few more ethereal synth melodies but every bit as gritty and as exciting as Tyas'.referencing Shipwrecked (12", Generic Sleeve) armd1032
Heavenly trance pretty much describes this release. It's a remarkable package with some of the genre's biggest names on the remix duties. Side A has Mike Foyle partnering with John O'Callaghan with a piano filled uplifting progressive trance song, complete with bouncy bass lines and backup synths. It's a quality remix that only leads to the flip side.
Side B has remixes by both Sean Tyas and Gareth Emery, and both are excellent examples of high energy peak-time progressive trance. Tyas rarely disappoints and his remix is nothing short of an epic journey into piano laden uptempo trance with a thrilling break. Emery's take is as gritty as Tyas', with a bit more ethereal melodic elements to it, and just as exciting.
