Kendrick Lamar – Good Kid, M.A.A.D City

Genuinely one of the best sounding records in my collection, I can't get over how punchy the drums are and how deep and potent the bass is on this thing

I'm very impressed with the sound of this release, everything is done correctly.

My first time listening to a Kendrick Lamar album. I used to not really like his music and find his voice annoying. This album changed everything I thought of him. I believe this is a masterpiece and the storytelling in it is amazing.

I finally got around to directly comparing the previous standard black version to this reissue.

This is definitely a much more pronounced pressing volume-wise. Not nearly as muffled as the original. Fidelity-wise, it’s hard to say. But this sounds great!

Think the packaging looks cool but don't get why they left out the bonus tracks for an anniversary edition
Only really got it cause I found an uncensored copy at my work (walmart)

This pressing sounds great. I thought it sounded detailed and balanced, at least my version did. Not sure how much difference there is between this pressing (Czech Republic) and the US one.

My catalog number is B0036377-01. I went into my record store (Josey DFW) looking for this clear pressing and when I opened it up, to my surprise, it was just a regular black vinyl. Anyone know anything about this?

I love being excited to get this album at the thrift store then getting the clean version lol. Trick don't kill my vibe....

Theres a bit of crackles on my copy but nothing that distracts from the music. Its definitely a gamble with any album pressed at URP, but the sound is still very good and the clear vinyl looks very nice.

Looks amazing, love the transparent vinyl. Wish it came with something extra but I would highly recommend!
